The TPS62130RGTR series are easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converters optimized for high power density applications. The high switching frequency of 2.5MHz typical enables the use of small inductors and provides fast transient response and high output voltage accuracy by using DCS-Control topology.

TPS62130RGTR This device has a wide 3-V to 17-V operating input voltage range, making it ideal for systems powered by Li-Ion or other batteries and a 12-V intermediate rail. These devices support up to 3A of continuous output current (when using 100% duty cycle mode) over an output voltage range of 0.9V to 6V. This output voltage start-up ramp is controlled by a soft-start pin, allowing operation as a stand-alone supply or in a tracking configuration. Power sequencing is also possible through a configuration enable pin and an open-drain power good status pin.

The TPS62130RGTR consumes approximately 17 µA of quiescent current from VIN in power-save mode. Eco mode is automatically and seamlessly entered at light loads, while maintaining high efficiency across the entire load range. The device is shut down in shutdown mode, consuming less than 2µA of current.
