Product Description:

The ADUM1251WARZ are hot-swappable digital isolators with built-in non-latching bidirectional communication channels compatible with the I2C interface. This eliminates the need to split the I2C signal into separate transmit and receive signals for separate optocouplers.

The ADUM1251WARZ provides two bidirectional channels supporting a fully isolated I2C interface. The ADuM1251 provides one bidirectional channel and one unidirectional channel for applications that do not require a bidirectional clock.

The ADUM1251WARZ all have built-in hot-swap circuitry to prevent interfering data when a passive card is inserted into an active bus.

The ADUM1251WARZ isolators feature ADI's iCoupler® chip-scale transformer technology. iCoupler is a magnetic isolation technology that outperforms optocouplers in terms of functionality, performance, size, and power consumption. The ADUM1251WARZ integrates an iCoupler channel with a semiconductor circuit for a fully isolated I2C interface in a small package.
