Product Description:

The ADUM263N0BRIZ are 6-channel digital isolators utilizing iCoupler® technology from Analog Devices. Combining high-speed, complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air-core transformer technology, these isolation devices provide superior performance characteristics over alternatives such as optocouplers and other integrated couplers. These devices have a maximum propagation delay of 13 ns and a pulse width distortion of less than 4.5 ns at 5 V. Features tight 4.0 ns (max) propagation delay channel-to-channel matching.

The ADUM263N0BRIZ data channel is a self-contained channel with multiple configuration options and a 5.0 kV rms tolerant voltage rating (see Ordering Guide). These devices operate from a 1.7 V to 5.5 V supply voltage, are compatible with low-voltage systems, and are capable of voltage translation across the isolation barrier.

The ADUM263N0BRIZ, unlike other optocouplers, ensures dc correctness in the absence of input logic transitions. They offer two different fail-safe options where the output transitions to a predetermined state when the input power is not applied.
