Product Description:

The TPS62993QRYTRQ1 is an efficient, small, flexible, and easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. A selectable switching frequency of 2.5MHz or 1.0MHz allows the use of small inductors and provides fast transient response. The device supports high VOUT accuracy of ±1.5% over the entire operating temperature range and improves load transient performance with a DCS-Control topology. The wide input voltage range of 3V to 10V supports various nominal inputs such as 9V rail, single or multi-cell Li-Ion battery, 5V or 3.3V rail.

The TPS62993QRYTRQ1 can automatically enter power saving mode (if auto PFM or PWM is selected) at light loads to maintain high efficiency. Additionally, to provide high efficiency at very light loads, the device features a low 4µA typical quiescent current. AEE (if enabled) provides high efficiency over VIN, VOUT and load current ranges. The device includes a MODE/Smart-CONF input to program internal and external voltage dividers, switching frequency, output voltage discharge, and automatic power-saving mode or forced PWM operation.
