Product Description:

The TPS65300QPWPRQ1 power supply is a combination of a single switch mode buck power supply and three linear regulators. This device is a monolithic high-voltage switching regulator with an integrated 1.2A peak current switch, 45V power MOSFET, and a low-line regulator with two voltage voltage regulator controller.

TPS65300QPWPRQ1 This device is equipped with a voltage supervisor to monitor the output voltage of the switch-mode power supply, 3.3-V linear regulator, and 1.234-V linear regulator. An external timing capacitor is used to program the power-up delay time and the release time of the reset output nRST. This reset output is also used to indicate if the switch mode supply, 3.3V linear regulator supply or 1.234V linear regulator supply is outside programmed limits. The 5V regulator tracks the 3.3V linear regulator within specified limits.

The TPS65300QPWPRQ1 device switches between 2MHz and 3MHz, enabling half-height inductors and low-value input and output ceramic capacitors.

Use of containers. External loop compensation provides the user with the flexibility to optimize the converter's response for appropriate operating conditions. The device has built-in protection features such as soft-start (while IGN_EN is on or enabled), pulse-by-pulse current limit, thermal sensing, and shutdown in case of excessive power dissipation.
