Product Description:
The DRV824x-Q1 family of devices are fully integrated H-bridge drivers for a variety of automotive applications. The device can be configured as a single full-bridge driver, or as two independent half-bridge drivers. This monolithic power device-in-package system designed on a BiCMOS high-power process technology node offers excellent power handling and thermal performance, small package size, easy layout, EMI control, accurate current sensing and diagnostics, High robustness. This series offers the same pin function and scalable RON (current capability) to support different loads.
These devices integrate an N-channel H-bridge, charge pump regulator, high-side current sensing and regulation, current ratiometric output, and protection circuitry. A low power sleep mode is also provided for lower quiescent current. These devices provide voltage monitoring and load diagnostics as well as overcurrent and overtemperature protection. Indicates a fault condition on the nFAULT pin. These devices are available in three variants - hardwired interface: HW (H) and two SPI interface variants: SPI (P) and SPI (S), where SPI (P) is used for externally supplied logic power and SPI (S) is used for Internally generated logic power. SPI interface variants allow for more flexible device configuration and fault monitoring.
