The TPS566238PRQFR is a simple, easy-to-use, and high-efficiency 6-A synchronous step-down converter in a QFN 9-pin 1.5mm x 2.0mm package.

These devices operate over a wider supply input voltage range (3V to 18V), provide fast transient response with D-CAP3™ control mode, have good line and load regulation, require no external compensation, and support low ESR output capacitors.

The TPS566238PRQFR operates in Eco-Mode™ mode to maintain high efficiency during light load operation; with ULQ™ (ultra-low quiescent current) function, it can achieve 50uA quiescent current to extend battery life in low-power applications. The TPS566238PRQFR operates in continuous current mode to maintain low output ripple under all load conditions.

The TPS566238PRQFR soft-start time can be adjusted through the SS pin. The TPS566238PRQFR indicates power-good status through the PG pin.
