Product Description

The AMC1035QDRQ1 is a precision delta-sigma modulator that operates from a single 3.0V to 5.5V supply and has an externally powered 9MHz to 21MHz clock signal. In Manchester mode, the nominal clock range is 9MHz to 11MHz. The device's differential ±1-V input structure is optimized for voltage and temperature sensing rendering.

The AMC1035QDRQ1 has an optional Manchester encoded output bit stream, which eliminates the setup and hold time requirements of the receiving device and reduces overall circuit layout effort. When used to decimate the output bit stream with digital filters such as those integrated into the TMS320F28004x, TMS320F2807x, or TMS320F2837x microcontroller families, the device achieves 16-bit resolution with 87dB dynamic range at a data rate of 82 kSPS.

The AMC1035QDRQ1's internal reference resources support a ratiometric circuit architecture that minimizes the negative impact of supply voltage variations and temperature drift on measurement accuracy.

The AMC1035QDRQ1 can also be used for common-mode AC voltage sensing with digital isolators and isolated power supplies.
