Product Description:

The LM73606QRNPRQ1 family of devices are easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converters that operate from a supply voltage of 3.5V to 36V and are capable of driving load currents up to 5A (LM73605-Q1) or 6A (LM73606-Q1). The LM73606QRNPRQ1 solution is very small and provides excellent efficiency and output accuracy. Adopt peak current mode control. Additional features such as adjustable switching frequency, synchronization to an external clock, power good flags, precision enable, adjustable soft-start, and tracking provide a flexible and easy-to-use solution for a variety of applications. Automatic frequency foldback at light loads and an optional external bias supply improve efficiency over the entire load range. This product family requires very few external components, and the pinout design simplifies PCB layout and provides excellent EMI and thermal performance. Protection features include thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and hiccup short-circuit protection. The LM73606QRNPRQ1 device is pin-to-pin compatible for easy current regulation.
