The NB7NPQ1104MMTTWG is a high performance 2-port linear redriver designed for USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 applications supporting 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps data rates. Signal integrity degradation comes from PCB traces, transmission cables, and intersymbol interference (ISI). These losses are compensated for by participating in different equalization levels at the input receiver, and gain flattening is amplified at the output transmitter. The NB7NPQ1104M provides programmable equalization and flattening of the gain of each individual channel to optimize performance across various physical media.

The NB7NPQ1104MMTTWG contains an automatic receiver detection function which will determine if the output is active. If the receiver is signaled by the corresponding channel, the detection loop will be activated and the detector will be idle for a period of time. The channel will then move to unplug mode if no load is detected, otherwise it will return to low power mode (sleep mode) due to inactivity.

The NB7NPQ1104MMTTWG is available in a 3.5 x 9 mm WQFN42 package and is specified to operate over the full industrial temperature range, –40°C to 85°C.
