The MC33984CHFKR2 is a dual self-protected 4.0 mOhm silicon switch for replacement of electromechanical relays, fuses, and discrete device applications in power management. Designed for harsh environments, the 33984 includes self-healing capabilities. The device is suitable for loads with high inrush current, as well as motors and all types of resistive and inductive loads. Programming, control and diagnostics are implemented via a serial peripheral interface (SPI). Dedicated parallel inputs are available for alternate pulse width modulation (PWM) control of each output. SPI programmable fault trip thresholds allow the device to be tuned for optimum performance in the application.

The MC33984CHFKR2 is available in a power-enhanced 12 mm x 12 mm lead-free PQFN package with an exposed label.
