The ISO7341FCDWR device provides galvanic isolation up to 3000 VRMS for up to 1 minute per UL 1577 and 4242 VPK isolation per VDE V 0884-10. The devices feature four isolation channels consisting of logic input and output buffers separated by silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulating barriers.

ISO7341FCDWR devices have four forward channels, ISO7341x devices have three forward channels and one reverse channel, and ISO7341FCDWR devices have two forward channels and two reverse channels. In the event of loss of input power or signal, the default output is low (devices with suffix F) or high (devices without suffix F). See the Device Functional Modes section for more details.

Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, these devices help prevent noise currents on data buses or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. The ISO7341FCDWR device has an integrated noise filter for use in harsh industrial environments where short noise pulses may appear on the device input pins. The ISO734x devices have TTL input thresholds and operate from 3V to 5.5V.
