Product Description:

The LT8636/LT8637 synchronous buck regulators use an ultralow noise switching regulator architecture to minimize EMI emissions while providing high efficiency at high switching frequencies. Peak current mode control with 30ns minimum on-time supports high step-down ratios even at high switching frequencies.

The LT8636 features an ultralow 2.5µA quiescent current and its output is fully regulated, supporting applications requiring high efficiency at very small load currents. The LT8637 provides external compensation, current sharing and fast transient response at high switching frequencies. The CLKOUT pin enables other regulators to be synchronized to the LT8636/LT8637.

Burst mode operation enables ultra-low standby power consumption, forced continuous mode controls frequency harmonics over the entire output load range, or spread spectrum operation further reduces EMI emissions. Soft-start and tracking functions can be accessed through the TR/SS pin, and precise input voltage UVLO thresholds can be set using the EN/UV pin.
