The STM32WBA52xx multiprotocol wireless and ultra-low-power devices embed a powerful ultra-low-power radio compliant with Bluetooth® SIG Low Energy specification 5.3. They contain a high-performance Arm Cortex-M33 32-bit RISC core. They operate at a frequency of up to 100 MHz. These devices integrate a 2.4 GHz RADIO that supports Bluetooth Low Energy and enables the use of proprietary protocols.

The Cortex-M33 core features a single-precision floating-point unit (FPU) that supports all Arm single-precision data processing instructions and all data types. The Cortex-M33 core also implements a full set of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) instructions and a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) for enhanced application security.

These devices embed high-speed memory (up to 1 MB of Flash and up to 128 KB of SRAM), extensive enhanced I/O and peripheral connections to the AHB and APB buses on a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix.
