The LMR23615QDRRRQ1 SIMPLE SWITCHER® is an easy-to-use 36V, 1.5A synchronous buck regulator. With a wide input range of 4 V to 36 V, the device is suitable for voltage regulation of a variety of unregulated supplies in applications ranging from industrial to automotive. The device uses peak current mode control for simple control loop compensation and cycle-by-cycle current limit. It has a quiescent current of 75µA, making it suitable for battery-powered systems. An ultra-low shutdown current of 2µA further extends battery life. Internal loop compensation means that the user does not have to undertake the tedious work of designing loop compensation components. This also minimizes external component count.

An extended family of the device offers 2.5A (LMR23625-Q1) and 3A (LMR23630-Q1) load current options in pin-to-pin compatible packages, allowing for easy and optimal PCB layout. A precision enable input simplifies regulator control and system power sequencing. Protection functions Features include cycle-by-cycle current limit, hiccup mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown from excessive power dissipation.
