Describe:
The ISO7721FQDRQ1 device is a high-performance dual-channel digital isolator offering 5000VRMS (DW package) and 3000VRMS (D package) isolation ratings per UL 1577. These devices are also certified by VDE, TUV, CSA and CQC.
ISO7721FQDRQ1 While isolating complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) or low-voltage complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (LVCMOS) digital I/O, the ISO7721FQDRQ1 device also provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions while featuring low power consumption. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulating barrier. The ISO7721FQDRQ1 device has two non-directional channels, while the -Q1 device has two reverse channels. Devices without the suffix F default to a high level, and devices with an F suffix default to a low level in the event of loss of input power or signal. When the ISO7721FQDRQ1 is used with an isolated power supply, these devices help prevent noise currents on the data bus or other circuitry from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. With innovative chip design and layout techniques, the electromagnetic compatibility of the ISO7721FQDRQ1 device has been significantly enhanced to mitigate system-level ESD, EFT and surge issues and comply with emission standards. The ISO7721FQDRQ1 family of devices is available in 16-pin SOIC wide body (DW) and 8-pin SOIC narrow body (D) packages.
