Quectel RG500U series is a high-performance, cost-effective LGA package 5G Sub-6 GHz module specially designed for IoT/eMBB applications. Using 3GPPRelease 15 technology, it automatically adapts to 5G NR NSA and SA dual-module networks, and supports both TDD and FDD modes. Backward compatible with 4G/3G.

The RG500U series are industrial grade modules and are only suitable for industrial and commercial grade applications.

The RG500U series consists of two sub-models: RG500U-EA and RG500U-CN. The RG500U series has built-in rich network protocols, integrates rich peripheral interfaces, provides PCIe/USB/SDIO/UART/SPI/I2C/I2S/GPIOs and other communication interfaces, and supports a variety of driver and software functions, and supports VoLTE ( optional), VoNR (optional), DFOTA, audio, eSIM* (optional), greatly expanding its application scenarios in the IoT industry.
