The STM32H730xB devices are based on a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC core running at up to 550 MHz. The Cortex® -M7 core has a floating-point unit (FPU) that supports Arm® double-precision (IEEE 754 compliant) and single-precision data processing instructions and data types. The Cortex-M7 core includes 32 KB instruction cache and 32 KB data cache. STM32H730xB devices support a full set of DSP instructions and a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) to enhance application security.

STM32H730xB devices contain high-speed embedded memory Flash with 128 KB, up to 564 KB of RAM (including 192 KB for ITCM and AXI, plus 64 KB for ITCM, plus 128 KB for AXI, 128 KB for DTCM, 48 KB for AHB and 4 KB for backup RAM), and a wide range of enhanced I/O and peripherals connected to the APB bus, AHB bus, 2x32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix and multilayer AXI interconnect supporting internal and external memory access. To increase application robustness, all memories have error code correction (one error correction, two error detection).

These devices embed peripherals that allow acceleration of math/arithmetic functions (CORDIC coprocessor for trigonometric functions and FMAC unit for filter functions). All devices provide three ADCs, two DACs, two operational amplifiers, two ultra-low-power comparators, a low-power RTC, four general-purpose 32-bit timers, twelve general-purpose 16-bit timers, including Two PWM timers for motor control, five low-power timers, a true random timer number generator (RNG), crypto acceleration unit and HASH processor. These devices support four digital filters for the external sigma-delta modulator (DFSDM). They also have standard and advanced communication interfaces.
