The DIX4192IPFBRQ1 device is a highly integrated CMOS device for professional and broadcast digital audio systems. The DIX4192-Q1 combines a digital audio interface receiver (DIR) and transmitter (DIT), two audio serial ports, and flexible distributed logic for functional block data and clock interconnects.
The DIX4192IPFBRQ1 DIR and DIT are compatible with AES3, S/PDIF, IEC 60958, and EIAJ CP-1201 interface standards. The audio serial port and DIT are capable of operating at sample rates up to 216kHz. The DIR lock range covers sample rates between 20kHz and 216kHz.
The DIX4192IPFBRQ1 device is configured through on-chip control registers and data buffers accessed through a four-wire serial peripheral interface (SPI) port or a two-wire I2C-bus interface. Through the status register, various flags and error bits from different function blocks can be accessed. The device provides an open-drain interrupt output pin supported by flexible interrupt reporting and masking options through control register settings. The device also provides a master reset input pin for initialization by a host processor or a supervisory function.
The DIX4192IPFBRQ1 device requires not only a 3.3-V supply to power some of the DIR, DIT, and line driver and receiver functions, but also a 1.8-V core logic supply. A separate logic I/O supply supports operation from 1.65V to 3.6V and is compatible with low-voltage logic interfaces typically found on digital signal processors and programmable logic devices.
