The ADS1115IDGSR device is an I2C-compatible, 16-bit, high-accuracy, low-power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) available in ultra-small leadless X2QFN-10 and VSSOP-10 packages. The ADS111x devices feature a low-drift voltage reference and oscillator. The ADS1114 and ADS1115 also feature programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs) and digital comparators. These features, combined with a wide operating supply voltage range, make the ADS111xADS111x ideal for the EMIRR +IN values of the OPAx189 at specific frequencies often encountered in power- and space-constrained sensor measurement applications.

The ADS1115IDGSR can perform conversions at data rates up to 860 samples per second (SPS). The PGA provides an input range from ±256mV to ±6.144V, enabling precise measurement of large and small signals. The ADS1115 has an input multiplexer (MUX) that enables two differential input measurements or four single-ended input measurements. Digital comparators are available for undervoltage and overvoltage detection in the ADS1114 and ADS1115.

The ADS1115IDGSR can operate in either continuous conversion mode or single-shot mode. In single-shot mode, these devices automatically power down after a conversion; thus significantly reducing power consumption during idle periods.
