The MAX20403AFLB/VY IC is a tiny synchronous step-down converter with integrated high-side and low-side switches. The MAX20402/MAX20403 deliver up to 2.5A/3.5A over a wide input voltage range of 3V to 36V. Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the PGOOD signal. These ICs can operate in dropout conditions by operating at a 99% duty cycle, making them ideal for automotive and industrial applications.

The MAX20403AFLB/VY provides externally programmable or internally fixed output voltages of 5V and 3.3V. Fixed 3MHz/2.1MHz/400kHz internal frequency options are available, allowing the use of small external components and reducing output ripple while ensuring no AM interference.
