The ADUM4401CRWZ is based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high-speed CMOS and monolithic air-core transformer technology, these isolation components offer superior performance characteristics over alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The ADUM4401CRWZ isolator provides four independently isolated channels with various channel configurations and data rates. All models are powered from 3.0 V to 5.5 V on both sides, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems and enabling voltage translation across the isolation barrier. The ADUM4401CRWZ isolator features a patented refresh feature to ensure DC correctness in the absence of input logic transitions and during power-up/power-down conditions.
