Product Description:

The LT8652S is a dual-channel step-down regulator that can simultaneously source up to 8.5A of continuous current from both channels, and each channel can support loads up to 12A. The LT8652S features second generation Silent Switcher technology, including integrated bypass capacitors, enabling a high frequency, high efficiency, small size solution with excellent EMI performance. The LT8652S is ideal for noise sensitive applications such as PLLs and high bandwidth data and communication systems.

Fast, clean, low overshoot switch terminations enable efficient operation even at high switching frequencies, supporting wide control loop bandwidth for fast transient response. Output current monitoring and current limiting allow the inductor to be selected for maximum output current in a given application. Differential output voltage sensing provides accurate voltage regulation at the point of load for high current applications. Two channels can be combined to deliver 17A, and two LT8652S ICs can be combined for 4-phase 34A power.
