The STM32L4R9VIT6 device is an ultra-low-power high-performance microcontroller family (STM32L4+ series) based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core. They operate at frequencies up to 120 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core features a single-precision floating-point unit (FPU) supporting allArm® single precision data processing instructions and all data types. The CortexM4 core also implements a full set of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) instructions and a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) to enhance application security.
STM32L4R9VIT6 These devices embed high-speed memory (2 MB flash and 640 KBSRAM), a flexible external memory controller (FSMC) for static memory (for packages with 100 pins and more), two OctoSPI flash interfaces ( available for all packages) and a wide range of enhanced I/O and peripherals connected to two APB buses, two AHB buses and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix.
STM32L4R9VIT6 devices embed several protection mechanisms for embedded Flash memory and SRAM: read protection, write protection, proprietary code read protection and firewall.
STM32L4R9VIT6 These devices provide a fast 12-bit ADC (5 Msps), two comparators, two operational amplifiers, two DAC channels, an internal voltage reference buffer, a low-power RTC, two general-purpose 32-bit timers, Two 16-bit PWM timers dedicated to motor control, seven general-purpose 16-bit timers and two 16-bit low-power timers. The device supports four digital filters for an external sigma delta modulator (DFSDM). Additionally, up to 24 capacitive sensing channels are available. They also feature standard and advanced communication interfaces such as:

• Three SPIs
• Three USARTs, two UARTs, and one low-power UART
• Two SAIs
• An SDMMC
• One USB OTG full speed
• Camera interface
• DMA2D controller
STM32L4R9VIT6 The device operates from -40 to +85 °C (+105 °C junction) and -40 to +125 °C (+130 °C junction) from 1.71 to 3.6 V for VDD supply when using internal LDO regulator and 1.05 to 1.32 V VDD12 supply for SMPS power supply. A comprehensive set of power-saving modes allows the design of low-power applications. Several independent power supplies are supported, such as analog independent power inputs for ADC, DAC, OPAMP, and comparators, a 3.3 V dedicated power input for USB and up to 14 I/Os, which can be independently supplied as low as 1.08 V. The VBAT input allows backup of the RTC and backup of the registers. A dedicated VDD12 supply can be used to bypass the internal LDO regulator when connected to an external SMPS.
