Product Description:

The ADS131M06QPBSRQ1 is a six-channel, simultaneous sampling, 24-bit, delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with wide dynamic range and low power consumption, making it ideal for use in automotive battery management systems (BMS). The ADC input can be connected directly to a shunt resistor for bidirectional battery current measurement, to a resistive divider network for high voltage measurement, or to a temperature sensor such as a thermistor or an analog output temperature sensor.


Each ADC channel can be configured independently based on sensor input. A low-noise, programmable gain amplifier (PGA) provides gains from 1 to 128 to amplify low-level signals. In addition, the device integrates channel-to-channel phase calibration, offset and gain calibration registers to help eliminate signal chain errors.


ADS131M06QPBSRQ1 This device integrates a low-drift, 1.2-V reference to reduce printed circuit board (PCB) area. Optional Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) in data-in, data-out, and register maps ensures communication integrity.

• Fast start: first data within 0.5 ms of voltage ramp

• Integrated Negative Charge Pump Allows Input Signals Below Ground

• Crosstalk between channels: -120 dB

• Low-Drift Internal Voltage Reference

• Cyclic redundancy checker (CRC) for communication and register map

• Analog and Digital Power: 2.7V to 3.6V

• Low Power Consumption: 4.9mW at 3V AVDD and DVDD
