The MAX32625IWY is a new class of low-power microcontrollers designed for the rapidly expanding Internet of Things (IoT). The device is incredibly intelligent, with the industry's largest memory and a massively scalable memory architecture. Thanks to wearable-grade power technology, the device can run forever. The devices are also robust enough to withstand the most advanced cyber attacks. DARWIN microcontrollers can run just about any application you can think of — no other microcontroller can.
U-series microcontrollers are ideal for wearable and IoT applications where power consumption or performance are critical. The MAX32625/MAX32626 feature an Arm® Cortex®-M4 FPU CPU for efficient signal processing, ultra-low power consumption, and ease-of-use.
Flexible power modes, intelligent PMU, dynamic clocking, and power gating maximize performance and minimize power consumption for each application. An internal 96MHz oscillator provides high performance, and a 4MHz oscillator maximizes battery life for applications requiring constant current monitoring.
Multiple SPI, UART, I2C, 1-Wire® host interfaces, and USB interfaces are provided. A four-input, 10-bit ADC with optional reference enables monitoring of external sensors.
All versions offer a hardware AES engine. The MAX32626 provides a trust-protected unit (TPU) with a modular arithmetic accelerator (MAA) for fast ECDSA, a hardware PRNG entropy generator, and a secure bootloader. The MAX32625L offers a small 256kB flash and 128kB SRAM.
