Product Description:

The 13mm x 13mm package (ALW) version of the AM6234ATCGGAALW Sitara™ processor is an industrial-grade processor, while the 17.2mm x 17.2mm package (AMC) version is AEC-Q100 automotive qualified. Industrial and automotive functional safety requirements can be met using the integrated Cortex-M4F core and dedicated peripherals, both isolated from the rest of the AM62x processor.

The AM6234ATCGGAALW 3-port Gigabit Ethernet switch has one internal port and two external ports supporting Time Sensitive Networking (TSN). An additional PRU module on the device can provide real-time I/O capabilities for customers' own use cases. Additionally, a large number of peripherals are included in the AM62x to enable system-level connectivity such as: USB, MMC/SD, camera interface, OSPI, CAN-FD, and GPMC for parallel connection of the host interface to an external ASIC/FPGA. AM62x devices also support secure boot for IP protection with built-in Hardware Security Module (HSM) support and advanced power management support for portable and power sensitive applications.
