Product Description:
The TPSM63606EXTRDLR, derived from the family of synchronous buck modules, is a highly integrated 36V, 6A DC/DC solution integrating multiple power MOSFETs, a shielded inductor, and passives with an enhanced HotRod™ QFN encapsulation. The module's VIN and VOUT pins are located at the corners of the package to optimize placement of input and output capacitors. Four large thermal pads under the module allow for simple layout and easy handling during manufacturing.
The TPSM63606EXTRDLR has an output voltage from 1V to 16V and is designed to quickly and easily implement low EMI designs on small footprint PCBs. The overall solution requires only four external components and eliminates magnetic and compensation component selection from the design process.
TPSM63606EXTRDLR Despite the simple small size design for space-constrained applications, the TPSM63606E module offers many features for robust performance: precision enable with hysteresis for input voltage UVLO regulation, resistor programmable switch node voltage Slew rate and spread spectrum options for improved EMI, integrated VCC, bootstrap and input capacitors for increased reliability and density, constant switching frequency over full load current range, and PGOOD indicator for sequencing, fault protection and output voltage monitoring.
