The LM53603-Q1, LM53602-Q1 buck regulators are designed for automotive applications and can provide 5V at 3A or 3.3V at 2A (selected by ADJ option) output from an input voltage up to 36V. The device utilizes advanced high-speed circuitry to regulate input voltages up to 20V while providing a 5V output at a switching frequency of 2.1MHz. The device uses an innovative architecture to provide a regulated 3.3V output from an input voltage of only 3.5V. The product is fully optimized for automotive customers. The device accepts input voltages up to 36V and tolerates transient voltages up to 42V, which simplifies input surge protection designs.
