Product Description:

The TPS79633QDCQRQ1 is a family of low-dropout (LDO), low-power, linear voltage regulators that feature high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultra-low noise, fast soft-start, and excellent line and load transient response capabilities. Each device in this family is stable with a small 1µF ceramic capacitor on the output. This family uses an advanced, proprietary BiCOMS fabrication process to generate extremely low dropout voltages (eg, 250mV at 1A). Each device achieves fast start-up time (~50µs with a 0.001µF bypass capacitor) while consuming very low quiescent current (265µA typical). Also, when the device is placed in standby mode, supply current is reduced to less than 1µA. The output voltage noise of the TPS79630-Q1 on the 3V output is about 40μVRMS when using a 0.1μF bypass capacitor. Applications using noise-sensitive analog parts, such as portable RF electronics, benefit from features such as high PSRR, low noise characteristics, and fast response times.
