Product Description

The TPS3840DL42DBVRQ1 family of voltage supervisor or reset ICs can operate at high voltage levels while maintaining very low quiescent current over the entire VDD and temperature range. The TPS3840-Q1 offers an optimal combination of low power consumption, high precision and low propagation delay (tp_HL = 30µs typical).

The TPS3840DL42DBVRQ1 reset output signal asserts when the voltage on VDD drops below the negative voltage threshold (VIT-) or when manual reset is pulled to low logic (VMR_L). The reset signal is cleared when VDD rises above VIT- plus hysteresis (VIT+) and manual reset (MR) is floating or above VMR_H, reset delay time (tD) has expired. The reset delay time can be programmed by connecting a capacitor between the CT pin and ground. For a fast reset, the CT pin can be left floating.

TPS3840DL42DBVRQ1 Other Features: Low power-on reset voltage (VPOR), built-in glitch suppression protection for MR and VDD, built-in hysteresis, low open-drain output leakage current (ILKG(OD)).
