The LMR14020SDDAR device is a 40-V, 2-A step-down regulator with an integrated high-side MOSFET. Featuring a wide input voltage range of 4V to 40V, the device is suitable for power regulation of unregulated supplies in applications ranging from industrial to automotive. The regulator draws 40µA of quiescent current in sleep mode, making it ideal for battery-powered systems. And it has an ultra-low current of 1μA in shutdown mode to further extend battery life. The regulator's wide adjustable switching frequency range allows optimization of efficiency or external component size. Internal loop compensation means that the user does not have to undertake the tedious work of designing loop compensation components. And also to minimize the external component count of the device.
