Product Description:

DRV2700RGPR is a monolithic piezoelectric driver with an integrated 105V boost switch, integrated power diode, and integrated fully differential amplifier. This versatile device is capable of driving high and low voltage piezoelectric loads. The input signal can be either differential or single-ended, and either AC or DC coupling is supported. The DRV2700 device supports four GPIO-controlled gains: 28.8dB, 34.8dB, 38.4dB, and 40.7dB.

DRV2700RGPR The boost voltage is set by two external resistors. The boost current limit is programmable through the R(REXT) resistor. The boost converter architecture prevents supply current from exceeding the limit set by the R(REXT) resistor, allowing the user to optimize the DRV2700 circuit for a given inductor based on target performance requirements. In addition, the boost converter is based on a hysteretic architecture that minimizes switching losses, thereby increasing efficiency.

DRV2700RGPR The typical start-up time of the DRV2700 device is 1.5ms, making it an ideal piezoelectric driver in terms of speed of exiting sleep mode. The device has thermal overload protection against damage when overdriven.
