Product Description:

The DS90UB947TRGCRQ1 is an OpenLDI to FPD-Link III bridge device for use with the FPD-Link IIIDS90UB940-Q1/DS90UB948-Q1 deserializers, which can be ) cables provide single- or dual-channel high-speed serial streaming. It serializes OpenLDI input and supports video resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p60 (24-bit color depth).

The FPD-Link III interface supports video and audio data transfer and full-duplex control (including I2C and SPI communication) over the same differential link. The integration of video data and control through two differential pairs reduces interconnect size and weight and simplifies system design. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is minimized through the use of low-voltage differential signaling, data reordering, and random generation. In backward compatibility mode, the device supports up to WXGA and 720p resolution (24-bit color depth) on a single differential link.

The DS90UB947TRGCRQ1 supports receiving multi-channel audio through an external I2S interface. Audio data received by the device is encrypted and sent over the FPD-Link III interface before being regenerated by the deserializer.
